Target Information
CAMK4 (CaMKIV)는 serine/threonine protein kinase로, CREB, oncoprotein 18, SRF 등을 인산화합니다.
이 단백질은 림프구, 뉴런, 생식세포 등에서 전사 조절에 관여하며, 핵 내에서 칼슘 의존적 유전자 발현을 매개합니다.
CaMKIV는 특히 고환, T-세포, 뉴런에서 풍부하게 존재하며, 시냅스 가소성 및 칼슘 신호 전달에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한, 정자 형성 과정에서 염색질 재구성에 관여할 가능성이 제시되었습니다.
