Product Specific Information

The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD24 (Heat Stable Antigen, HSA), a 35–50 kDa molecule anchored to the plasma membrane via phosphatidylinositol. It is expressed on erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage cells. P-selectin (CD62P) has been reported to bind CD24.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test.
A test is defined as the amount of antibody that will stain cells in a 100 µL final volume (typically 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed during multiple stages of B-cell development, from pro-B cells to mature B cells. Expression is low or absent in plasma cells. It is found in most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. CD24 may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity control.
