Target Information
STAT5 alpha는 STAT 전사인자 계열의 구성원으로, 사이토카인 및 성장인자 자극 시 수용체 관련 키나아제에 의해 인산화되어 핵으로 이동해 전사 활성화를 유도합니다. STAT5 alpha는 IL2, IL3, IL7, GM-CSF, erythropoietin, thrombopoietin 등 다양한 리간드 반응을 매개하며, 종양 형성과 관련된 TEL/JAK2 융합 유전자의 활성화에도 관여합니다. 또한 BCL2L1/BCL-X(L) 발현을 유도하여 항아포토시스 기능을 수행합니다. STAT5 alpha와 STAT5 beta는 대부분의 조직에서 함께 발현되며, 생리적 기능(번식, 수유, 면역, 성장)에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
