Target Information
XRCC6 (Ku70) forms a nuclear complex with Ku80, functioning as a single-stranded DNA-dependent, ATP-dependent helicase. This complex participates in nonhomologous DNA end-joining repair, transposition, and V(D)J recombination. Elevated autoantibody levels against Ku70/Ku80 have been observed in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.
