This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human CD19.

Target Information

CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on 100% of peripheral B cells and may also be found on some myeloid leukemia cells. CD19 serves as a key regulator of B cell proliferation and differentiation and is expressed in all B cell precursor leukemias.

As a signal-amplifying coreceptor for the B cell receptor (BCR), CD19 reduces the threshold for antigen receptor-dependent stimulation and can also signal independently. Mutations in CD19 can lead to hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression causes B cell hyperactivity.
