Product Specific Information

This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal production clones.

Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:

  • Excellent specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to larger rabbit immune repertoire

This antibody has specificity for Human CD19.

Target Information

CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on 100% of peripheral B cells and also found on certain myeloid leukemia cells. CD19 serves as a key regulator of B cell activation and proliferation, acting as a signal-amplifying coreceptor for the B cell receptor (BCR). Mutations in CD19 can lead to hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression may cause B cell hyperactivity.
