Target Information
TBR2 (EOMES) is a member of the conserved T-box transcription factor family, sharing a common DNA-binding domain. T-box genes regulate developmental processes. In mice, a similar protein is essential for trophoblast development and gastrulation. TBR2 is crucial for brain development, particularly for specifying and proliferating intermediate progenitor cells in the cerebral cortex.
