- 0.5 µg/mL of MA5-45181 detects HSP90α in 20 µg of heat-shocked HeLa cell lysate via colorimetric immunoblot using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP secondary antibody.
- Detects approximately 90 kDa.

Target Information
Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are expressed in response to biological stress such as heat. HSP90 is a 90 kDa protein induced under stress but also abundant under non-stress conditions. It interacts with intracellular proteins including steroid receptors, actin, tubulin, and kinases. HSP90 is essential for maintaining structural integrity of certain steroid receptors for ligand binding during activation.
