0.5 µg/mL of MA5-45178 was sufficient for detection of HSP40 (HDJ1) in 15 µg of HeLa cell lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 40 kDa. Does not cross-react with HDJ2 or YDJ1.
Target Information
TCF-9 (transcription factor 9), also known as C2orf3, GCF, or DNABF, is a 781 amino acid nuclear protein that binds GC-rich promoter sequences of beta-Actin, EGFR, and calcium-dependent protease (CANP). Two isoforms are produced via alternative splicing. GCF is considered a candidate gene for dyslexia susceptibility (DYX3) due to chromosomal proximity on human chromosome 2. Chromosome 2 encodes over 1,400 genes and represents approximately 8% of the human genome.
