Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information

JunD is a transcription factor encoded by the JunD gene. Its transcriptional activity is modulated by phosphorylation in response to cellular stress via the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK)/Stress-Activated Protein Kinase (SAPK) pathway.
Jun proteins can form dimers with Fos, ATF, and CREB family transcription factors to create the AP-1 complex, which regulates genes involved in growth, proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis.
JunD also plays a role in metabolism through modulation of the IGF-1 signaling pathway.
