Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.
Advantages include:

  • Improved specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

SOX1 (SRY-box 1) is a transcription factor belonging to the SRY-related HMG box family with a DNA-binding HMG domain.
It promotes neuronal cell fate determination and differentiation, modulates LINE retroposon promoter activity, and is involved in central nervous system and lens development.
SOX1 binds to the HES1 promoter to suppress transcription (attenuating Notch signaling) and also interacts with β-catenin to inhibit TCF/LEF-mediated transcription (affecting WNT signaling).
Expression is primarily observed in embryonic tissues and moderately in the brain.
