IGFBP2 (insulin-like growth factor binding protein 2)는 다양한 IGF를 결합하는 ISGBP 패밀리의 구성원입니다. IGFBP2는 신경교종, 전립선암, 활막육종, 신경모세포종, 대장암, 부신피질암, 폐암, 윌름스 종양, 간모세포종 등 여러 암에서 과발현됩니다. IGFBP2의 과발현은 일부 종양의 공격성과도 상관관계가 있으며, 세포 침습성을 유도하는 matrix metalloprotease 2의 발현을 활성화합니다.
