For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Transcriptional control is partly regulated by interactions between DNA-bound transcription factors such as Egr-1/NGFI-A and coregulatory proteins like NAB (NGFI-A-binding proteins).
NAB proteins (NAB1 and NAB2) act as corepressors of EGF-1/NGFI-A. Both contain an N-terminal NAB conserved domain 1 (NCD1) for NGFI-A binding and a C-terminal NCD2 domain responsible for repressor function.
NAB2 is mainly localized in the nucleus and may be involved in downregulating NGFI-A activity, as well as in cell division, differentiation, and apoptosis regulation.
NAB2 has a predicted molecular mass of 56 kDa and is located on chromosome 12q13.3–14.1, a region associated with rearrangements in various solid tumors, lipomas, and liposarcomas.
