Product Specific Information
This 1A6 monoclonal antibody recognizes the hemagglutinin-neuraminidase (HN) of Sendai virus. It is validated for flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, and neutralization assays.
The CTS CytoTune-iPS 2.0 and 2.1 Sendai Reprogramming Kits use Sendai virus particles to deliver Yamanaka factors for iPSC generation. Clone 1A6 enables detection of residual Sendai virus post-transduction and culture.

Target Information
Sendai virus is a single-stranded RNA respirovirus (family Paramyxoviridae) that replicates in the respiratory tract of mammals such as mice, hamsters, rats, and guinea pigs.
The Hemagglutinin-Neuraminidase (HN) protein mediates cell entry by binding and cleaving sialic acids on cell surface glycoproteins, facilitating infection.
