This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal clones for production.

Target Information
The coiled-coil domain is a common protein motif involved in protein oligomerization, found in transcription factors and intermediate filaments.
CCDC134 is a secretory protein that inhibits the transcriptional activity of Elk1. Overexpression of CCDC134 inhibits phosphorylation of Erk and JNK/SAPK but not p38 MAPK, while siRNA against CCDC134 activates Elk1 transcriptional activity and phosphorylation of Erk and JNK/SAPK.
This suggests a potential inhibitory role of CCDC134 in MAPK-mediated Elk1 transcription.
CCDC134 is widely expressed in normal adult tissues, tumors, and cell lines.
