- DNA damage response and G2/M transition checkpoint activation
- Regulation of cytoskeleton stability and apoptosis
- Phosphorylation of MAP2K3, MAP2K6, and MARK2
- Activation of p38/MAPK cascade via MAP2K3 and MAP2K6
TAOK1 (also known as MARKK) acts as a microtubule affinity-regulating kinase essential for mitotic progression, chromosome congression, and checkpoint-induced anaphase delay.
