Product Specific Information
This B33fc8k monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Ly-6k, a member of the Ly6/uPAR superfamily. Ly-6k is a GPI-linked protein predominantly found on the cell surface, with possible non-membranous expression. It is expressed on B cells, plasma cells, and testis cells.
Using the B33fc8k antibody, Ly-6k expression is observed on a B lymphocyte subset in the spleen corresponding to transitional cells (CD23-IgM-).
In humans, Ly-6k is associated with carcinomas of the head and testis.
Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes; use ≤1 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number can range from 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Antibody should be titrated for optimal performance.

Target Information
