Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
BAFF (B-cell activating factor) is a membrane-bound cytokine expressed by B cell lineage cells.
The soluble form binds to TNFRSF13B/TACI, TNFRSF17/BCMA, and TNFRSF13C/BAFFR receptors.
It plays a crucial role in B cell proliferation and differentiation, and is also expressed by T lymphocytes, promoting T cell activation and survival.
Multiple isoforms resulting from alternative splicing and glycosylation have been identified.
