Antibody detects endogenous levels of GSK3 beta only when phosphorylated at Ser25.
Target Information
GSK3B is a proline-directed serine/threonine protein kinase involved in energy metabolism, neuronal cell development, and body pattern formation. It negatively regulates glucose homeostasis and participates in energy metabolism, inflammation, ER-stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and apoptotic pathways.
GSK3B is a key component of the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway, mediating beta-catenin degradation and inhibiting Wnt signaling. It is also involved in Hedgehog, Notch, and insulin signaling pathways.
