Target Information
WDR4 단백질은 tRNA의 7-methylguanosine 변형에 필요하며, WD repeat 단백질 패밀리에 속합니다. WD 반복은 약 40개의 아미노산으로 구성된 보존 서열로, GH-WD 모티프에 의해 구분됩니다. 이러한 반복은 복합체 형성에 기여하며, 세포 주기 조절, 신호 전달, 세포자멸사, 유전자 발현 조절 등 다양한 세포 과정에 관여합니다.
이 단백질은 DFNB10 비증후성 난청의 원인으로 배제되었으나, 21q22.3 영역과 관련된 다른 질환 및 다운증후군 표현형과의 연관 가능성이 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 최소 3가지 전사체 변이가 생성됩니다.
