For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Estrogen Receptor beta (ERβ, NR3A2) is a nuclear receptor protein (~55 kDa) with multiple isoforms (36–59 kDa).
Initially identified in human testis, ERβ belongs to the steroid/thyroid hormone receptor superfamily.
It acts as a ligand-activated transcription factor that binds estrogen, enabling dimerization and DNA binding to estrogen response elements (EREs).
ERβ can regulate gene transcription positively or negatively through coactivator or corepressor recruitment.
Two forms of estrogen receptor exist: alpha (ESR1) and beta (ESR2).
ERβ binds estrogens with similar affinity to ERα and may inhibit ERα activity in reproductive tissues.
ERβ is widely expressed and functions as a tumor suppressor, implicated in various conditions including prostate cancer, autism spectrum disorder, medullary thyroid carcinoma, De Quervain disease, and cardiovascular disease risk.
