Product Specific Information
- Description: Rat IgG2b monoclonal antibody is used as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
- Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
- Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes; use at same concentration as experimental antibody.
- Light Sensitivity: PE-Cy7 tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation; protect from light.
- Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.
- Excitation / Emission: 488–561 nm / 775 nm (Blue, Green, Yellow-Green Laser compatible).
- Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
Rat IgG2b encodes the immunoglobulin G2b subclass of rat antibodies, a major component in immune response through pathogen neutralization and opsonization. Commonly used in immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and Western blotting.
