Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CHEK2 (CHK2) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in the DNA damage checkpoint pathway. Mutations in CHK2 are associated with various cancers. It is activated by DNA damage and phosphorylates several cell cycle regulators, including tumor suppressor proteins such as BRCA1.
CHK2 functions as a tumor suppressor, and mutations in the CHK2 gene are linked to Li-Fraumeni syndrome and predisposition to sarcomas, breast cancer, and brain tumors.
