Product Specific Information

Alexa Fluor™ Plus recombinant antibodies are conjugated using proprietary dye chemistry to deliver brighter fluorescence and improved signal-to-noise ratio compared to traditional Alexa Fluor conjugates. These recombinant antibodies ensure better specificity and lot-to-lot consistency, as they are produced by cloning specific antibody genes into expression vectors and expressing them in vitro.

Usage Note:
Before use, briefly centrifuge the conjugate solution and use only the supernatant to minimize nonspecific background staining due to potential aggregates.

Applications Tested:
This eBioRDR5 antibody has been validated by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells and HEK293 overexpression cells. Recommended usage ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Optimize concentration for best assay performance.

Target Information

CD127 (Interleukin-7 receptor alpha, IL7Rα) is a glycoprotein involved in lymphopoiesis regulation. It forms a functional heterodimer with the gamma chain (γc), which is shared with the IL-2 receptor. The IL7R complex mediates signal transduction crucial for proliferation and survival of precursor B cells, thymocytes, and mature T cells. Dysfunction of CD127 is associated with severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) and related immune disorders.
