For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is involved in the import of precursor proteins into mitochondria. It exhibits chaperone-like activity, binding the mature portion of unfolded proteins and assisting their import into mitochondria. This protein is localized in the cytoplasm and sometimes associated with the outer mitochondrial membrane. It has weak ATPase activity and contains six TPR repeats.
