Target Information
PCNA (polymerase delta auxiliary protein)은 DNA 복제에 필수적인 단백질로, DNA 절제 및 불일치 수선 경로에 관여합니다.
CDK 억제제 p21, endonuclease Fen1 및 XPG, DNA methyltransferase(MCMT)와 결합하며, 세포의 증식 가능성과 종양 조직의 증식 상태를 파악하는 데 유용한 마커입니다.
PCNA는 G1 및 S 단계 세포에서 핵 내에 존재하며, DNA polymerase delta의 보조 인자로 작용합니다.
DNA 손상 시 PCNA는 RAD6 의존적 DNA 수선 경로에서 유비퀴틴화되어 작용하며, 동일 단백질을 암호화하는 두 가지 전사 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
또한 염색체 4와 X 염색체에 PCNA 유사 유전자가 존재합니다.
