Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits and screen individual clones to select optimal candidates.

Target Information
Synuclein proteins are abundantly expressed in neuronal cytosol and presynaptic terminals. In vertebrates, they are encoded by three distinct genes. Synucleins are implicated in major diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Parkinson’s disease (PD), and breast cancer.
- In AD: α-synuclein-derived peptides form part of amyloid plaques.
- In PD: α-synuclein accumulates in Lewy bodies and is linked to familial PD cases.
- In breast cancer: Elevated γ-synuclein expression correlates with disease progression.
Synucleins are also involved in membrane plasticity within the developing song control system of songbirds.
