MA1-70103 detects CD45RC in mouse samples.
It has been successfully used in flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry (frozen sections), and immunoprecipitation procedures.
The immunogen is mouse spleen cells.
Target Information
CD45RC (PTPRC) is a protein tyrosine-protein phosphatase required for T-cell activation through the antigen receptor. It acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation upon binding to DPP4. The first PTPase domain has enzymatic activity, while the second affects the substrate specificity of the first. Upon T-cell activation, CD45RC recruits and dephosphorylates SKAP1 and FYN. Mutations in this gene can result in severe combined immunodeficiency and multiple sclerosis.
