MA1-70101 detects CD200 in mouse samples.
It has been successfully used in flow cytometry, ELISA, and immunohistochemistry (frozen sections).
The immunogen is a mouse CD200-rat CD4 fusion protein.
Store at 4°C for short term. For extended storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
CD200 is a type-1 membrane glycoprotein containing two immunoglobulin domains, belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily.
It is a broadly distributed cell surface glycoprotein that interacts with CD200R on myeloid cells, playing a role in preventing macrophage activation.
Homologues of CD200 exist in various herpesviruses and poxviruses.
In mouse and rat, CD200 may regulate myeloid cell activity and provide inhibitory signaling in macrophage lineages.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
Diseases associated with CD200 dysfunction include Mantle Cell Lymphoma and Primary Hypertrophic Osteoarthropathy.
