Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MCL1 (Myeloid cell leukemia-1)는 Bcl-2 계열 단백질로, 세포 생존 유지에 관여하며, 세포 분화 중에도 세포 생존을 촉진합니다.
MCL1의 isoform 1은 apoptosis를 억제하고 isoform 2는 이를 촉진합니다.
DNA 손상 자극(방사선, 자외선, 알킬화제 등)에 의해 MCL1 발현이 증가하며, Bax 증가 및 bcl-2 감소와 함께 나타납니다.
MCL1은 미토콘드리아에 주로 존재하며, Bim 또는 Bak과 같은 pro-apoptotic 단백질을 중화하여 apoptosis를 억제한다고 알려져 있습니다.
MCL1은 다양한 세포 유형에서 발현되며, 배아 발생 및 B/T 림프구 발달에 필수적입니다.
두 가지 주요 isoform(MCL1L, MCL1S)이 존재하며, MCL1S의 과발현은 세포 사멸을 유도합니다.
