A BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with AKT pT308 from most vertebrate species based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence.
Cross-reactivity with AKT2 and AKT3 is likely to occur.
Target Information
AKT1 (PKB alpha) is a serine/threonine kinase that regulates cell survival.
Activated AKT1 inhibits apoptosis and promotes cell cycle progression by phosphorylating multiple targets in various cell types, including cancer cells.
