This antibody is predicted to react with mouse, rat, and Xenopus based on sequence homology.
Target Information
GRB2 protein contains one SH2 domain flanked by two SH3 domains. In response to EGF, GRB2 binds through its SH3 domains to the guanine nucleotide exchange factor Sos. The GRB2–Sos complex then associates with the EGF receptor, playing a critical role in activation of the p21^ras^ signaling pathway.
