Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The protein encoded by the POLR1D gene is a component of the RNA polymerase I and RNA polymerase III complexes, which are involved in the synthesis of ribosomal RNA precursors and small RNAs, respectively. Mutations in this gene are associated with Treacher Collins syndrome (TCS), a craniofacial development disorder. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
