The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The protein encoded by the PIP4K2B gene catalyzes the phosphorylation of phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate on the fourth hydroxyl of the myo-inositol ring to form phosphatidylinositol-5,4-bisphosphate. This gene belongs to the phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate 4-kinase family. Although the encoded protein sequence does not show similarity to other kinases, it exhibits kinase activity and interacts with the p55 TNF receptor.
