Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are composed of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, and providing lot-to-lot consistency.
These antibodies recognize multiple epitopes on the target, offering higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets.
Each lot contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability seen in traditional polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information
Focal Adhesion Kinase (FAK) is a 125 kDa non-receptor protein tyrosine kinase acting as a substrate for Src and a key component of integrin signaling.
FAK regulates cell spreading, differentiation, migration, cell death, and cell cycle progression.
It localizes to focal adhesions, mediating cell attachment to the extracellular matrix via integrin receptors.
FAK phosphorylation increases upon integrin engagement with fibronectin, promoting association with Grb2 and c-Src PTK, and activation of ERK2 MAP kinase.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms of FAK have been identified.
