Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The normal physiological role of BLM hydrolase (BLMH) is not fully understood. It catalyzes the inactivation of the antitumor drug bleomycin (BLM) by hydrolyzing the carboxamide bond of its β-aminoalaninamide moiety, thereby protecting normal and malignant cells from BLM toxicity.
