Activity:
Recombinant bovine IL-1β의 생물학적 활성은 mouse D10.G4.1 세포 증식 측정으로 확인됨 (Kaye J. et al., J. Immunol. 133:1339, 1984).
ED50는 14.1–21.1 pg/mL 범위에서 측정됨.

Target Information

Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β)는 단핵구, 대식세포, 수지상세포에서 발현되는 염증성 사이토카인입니다.
IL-1β는 염증 자극에 반응하여 31 kDa의 비활성 전구체 형태로 합성되며, inflammasome 활성화에 의해 17 kDa 활성형으로 절단됩니다.
활성화된 caspase-1이 pro-IL-1β를 절단하며, IL-1β는 ER/Golgi 경로가 아닌 비전형적 메커니즘으로 분비됩니다.
IL-1β는 IL-1RI 및 IL-1RII 수용체를 통해 신호를 전달하며, IL-1RA에 의해 경쟁적 억제 가능.
면역 방어 및 급성 염증 반응 유도에 중요한 역할을 하며, 만성 염증 질환과 관련 있음.
