Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
FGFR3 belongs to the FGFR family of receptor tyrosine kinases, which regulate various cellular functions such as angiogenesis, mitogenesis, osteogenesis, myogenesis, carcinogenesis, differentiation, and tissue repair.
FGFR family members differ in ligand affinities and tissue distribution. FGFR3 interacts with fibroblast growth factors, initiating signaling cascades influencing mitogenesis and differentiation.
It plays a role in bone development and maintenance. Mutations in FGFR3 are associated with craniosynostosis and skeletal dysplasia. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
