Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
TLR5 is a type I membrane protein belonging to the Toll-like receptor family and plays a key role in innate immune responses to microbial agents. It mediates detection of bacterial flagellins and acts via MyD88 and TRAF6, leading to NF-κB activation, cytokine secretion, and inflammation.
TLR5 is highly expressed in liver, detected in lung, and at low levels in other tissues. The gene locus is associated with susceptibility to Salmonella. Mouse strains vary in resistance to S. typhimurium infection. A common TLR5 stop codon polymorphism disrupting TLR5 signaling is linked to susceptibility to Legionnaires’ disease, highlighting its importance in innate immunity.
