For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

STAU1 is a member of the double-stranded RNA (dsRNA)-binding protein family involved in mRNA transport and localization to subcellular compartments.
It contains multiple dsRNA-binding domains for RNA binding and a microtubule-binding domain similar to that of MAP1B, allowing interaction with tubulin.
STAU1 is localized in the cytoplasm, associated with the rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER), suggesting its role in mRNA transport via the microtubule network.
It also interacts with influenza ribonucleoproteins NS1, NP, and PA, and is required for efficient viral replication.
