Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
O6-Methylguanine-DNA Methyltransferase (MGMT) is a DNA repair protein that contributes to tumor cell resistance against alkylating chemotherapeutic agents. It protects normal cells from genotoxic and carcinogenic effects of DNA alkylation by removing alkyl groups at the O6 position of guanine. MGMT expression varies depending on cell type, tissue, species, and growth conditions, as well as among and within tumor types.
