Product Specific Information

The ISA-3 monoclonal antibody reacts with human ICOS (Inducible COStimulatory molecule), also known as H4, CRP-1, and AILIM. ICOS is a T-cell specific activation molecule and a member of the CD28/CTLA-4 family. It plays a key role in T-cell activation and humoral immune responses, including memory B cell and plasma cell generation.

ICOS interacts with its ligand B7h/B7RP-1 expressed on activated antigen-presenting cells and inflamed peripheral tissues. Plate-bound ISA-3 induces production of cytokines such as IL-4, IL-5, and IL-10, but not IL-2. ISA-3 was generated against human ICOS antigen and shares reactivity characteristics with F44.

Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometric analysis of stimulated normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test.

Alexa Fluor 700 emits at 723 nm and can be excited with a red laser (633–647 nm). Recommended optical setup: 685 LP mirror and 710/20 band pass filter.
