Target Information
APLNR (Apelin Receptor)는 G 단백질 연결 수용체 유전자군에 속하는 단백질로, 안지오텐신 수용체와 유사하지만 실제로는 아펠린 수용체로서 아데닐산 사이클레이스 활성을 억제하고 안지오텐신 II의 혈압 상승 작용에 대해 역조절 역할을 수행합니다. 심혈관계, 중추신경계, 포도당 대사, 배아 및 종양 혈관형성, HIV-1 코수용체 기능 등 다양한 생리적 과정에 관여합니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 인한 두 가지 전사 변이가 보고되었습니다.
