This antibody detects endogenous DDX52 protein at a molecular weight of approximately 40 kDa.
Purity is >95% by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The product encoded by the DDX52 gene belongs to an RNA-binding protein family with nucleolytic activity against cytotoxic lymphocyte (CTL) target cells. It may play a role in apoptosis induction by recognizing poly(A) homopolymers and causing DNA fragmentation in CTL targets. The major granule-associated species is a 15-kDa protein derived from the carboxyl terminus of the 40-kDa product through proteolytic processing. Alternative splicing generates different isoforms of this gene product.
