Target Information
FANCD2 (Fanconi anemia group D2 protein)는 염색체 안정성 유지에 필수적인 단백질로, 감수분열 중 상동염색체의 정확하고 효율적인 결합을 촉진합니다.
DNA 이중가닥 절단 복구 과정에서 상동 재조합 및 단일가닥 결합 모두에 관여하며, 복제 스트레스에 의해 유도된 비-중심체성 이상 구조에 BLM을 표적화 및 안정화하는 데 필요합니다.
또한 FANCD2는 손상된 염색질에 BRCA2/FANCD1을 로딩하는 역할을 합니다.
FANCD2 유전자 결함은 Fanconi anemia complementation group D2 질환을 유발하며, 이는 모든 골수 요소에 영향을 미쳐 빈혈, 백혈구감소증, 혈소판감소증을 초래합니다.
