Target Information
FANCD2 (Fanconi anemia group D2 protein)는 염색체 안정성 유지에 필수적인 단백질로, 감수분열 중 상동 염색체의 정확하고 효율적인 결합을 촉진합니다.
이 단백질은 DNA 이중 가닥 절단 복구 과정에서 상동 재조합 및 단일 가닥 결합에 모두 관여하며, 복제 스트레스에 의해 유도된 비-중심절 이상 구조에 BLM 단백질을 안정화시키는 데 필요합니다. 또한, FANCD2는 손상된 크로마틴에 BRCA2/FANCD1이 결합하도록 돕습니다.
FANCD2 유전자의 결함은 Fanconi anemia complementation group D2를 유발하며, 이는 골수의 모든 구성 요소에 영향을 미쳐 빈혈, 백혈구 감소증, 혈소판 감소증을 초래할 수 있습니다.
