Product Specific Information

This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
This affinity-purified antibody is directed against human BORIS protein. BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with BORIS proteins from human and chimpanzee. Partial reactivity may occur against BORIS from mouse, dog, and rat sources based on sequence homology. Reactivity against homologues from other species is not known.
Target Information
CTCFL (BORIS) is a paralog of CTCF and is primarily expressed in the cytoplasm of spermatocytes. It is normally expressed in a mutually exclusive pattern that correlates with resetting of methylation marks during male germ cell differentiation.
