Unlike traditional polyclonal antibodies, the recombinant Superclonal™ format ensures lot-to-lot reproducibility by using a known combination of light and heavy chain sequences.

Target Information
The Akt signaling pathway regulates apoptosis in response to various cell death signals. AKT1S1 (PRAS40) is a proline-rich substrate of AKT1 and is implicated in neuroprotection mediated by nerve growth factor (NGF) following transient focal cerebral ischemia.
PRAS40 also acts as a substrate and potential regulator of the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), a serine/threonine kinase involved in cell growth, cell cycle regulation, and autophagy inhibition.
Insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF1) treatment induces phosphorylation of AKT1S1 via the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway in PC12 cells.
