Target Information
TET3는 ten-eleven-translocation (TET) 유전자 패밀리에 속하는 methylcytosine dioxygenase로, methylcytosine을 5-hydroxymethylcytosine으로 전환시키는 효소입니다. 주로 조혈세포에서 발현되며, TET2와 달리 TET3의 변이는 골수성 악성종양에서 관찰되지 않았습니다. 또한 수정 후 접합자의 DNA 탈메틸화 및 부계 DNA의 후성유전학적 재프로그래밍에 관여하며, 체세포 핵 치환 복제 과정에서도 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
