Target Information
GAP43 (Neuromodulin) is associated with nerve growth. It is expressed by developing and regenerating neurons, and to a lesser extent reactive glial cells. GAP43 is a major component of the motile growth cones that form the tips of elongating axons and plays a role in axonal and dendritic filopodia induction.
